Experience & Background

Sara Boettiger is a Senior Advisor to The Climate Board and works closely with the team on critical research and strategy issues.  She is also a senior advisor to McKinsey & Co and an Advisory Board member for the Export Import Bank of the United States.  Previously she was SVP, Head of Global Public Affairs, Science and Sustainability for Bayer Crop Science; and Deputy Director of the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation where she co-managed a USD 400+ million annual grant and contract investment portfolio with $2.2 billion in active assets.
